"workin' real hard to make internet cash, work your fingers to the bone sittin' on your ass". Great lyrics, weird stories and really unique music.
The Black Keys - Magic Potion ('06)
Great modern blues. Not as out there as John Spencer but a nice gritty sound.
Slayer is on of those bands that I still want to be interested in but feel that their best work is behind them. I am not really sure what they could do musically to really be relevant to me again.
Black Sabbath meets Jethro Tull. The singer's voice is an aquired taste but check out Love Train for some good old groovin rock-n-roll.
Black Label Society - The Blessed Hellride ('03)
Nothing ground breaking here but I enjoy the straight ahead chugging metalness. Kinda' like a drunk guy driving a tank.
Faith No More - Angel Dust ('92)
Mike Patton...'nuf said. Ok, Jim Martin too. Actually every member of this band is awesome...even the keyboard player.
